About Martin Street Community Childcare Centre
Established in 1988.
MSCCC is a non-profit long day care centre. All surplus money goes straight back to our Centre. We provide care for children from 6 weeks - 6 years of age.
At Martin Street Community Childcare Centre, we believe that all children and families are welcome and the Centre shall endeavour to provide a high quality service to all.
The whole child is valued and development is encouraged in all areas - social, emotional, physical, creative and intellectual. The children's development is supported by providing a safe, hygienic and nurturing setting that still allows children to take calculated risks.

We encourage our children to respect and value people from all walks of life through the Centre's Anti-Bias curriculum. Good parenting is a complex, demanding and difficult task; it is vital for children to be happy, healthy, literate and confident, with a sense of security and identity. From time to time all families will require support and refer families to where they can access support. The family in all its various forms is recognised as the prime caregiver and educator at Martin Street Community Childcare Centre.
We work in partnership with the family in caring and educating each child. Families from every culture form a valued part of our cummunity.
Children at Martin Street are not to be hurried but allowed the time they deserve to grow and learn through play. Childhood is a precious time, a time never to be repeated and we must preserve forever the fun, laughter and joy that is every child's right.
