Child Care Benefit (CCB)
Families may qualify for Child Care Benefit, subsidised by the Commonwealth Government. This is administered by the Family Assistance Office, accessible at Centrelink and Medicare Offices. The rate of CCB is determined by a family's estimated taxable income.

It is parent's responsibility to lodge the forms with Centrelink. This must be done every 12 months. Forms not lodged by the expiry date will result in parents paying Full Fees.
Child Care Benefit approved care can be received through
Reduced fees through the Child Care service OR A lump sum payment direct to families at the end of the financial year
As of 9 June 2008 Bauer Street operates under the new Child Care Management System. On enrolment it is essential that parents provide the child/children's CRN (Customer Reference Number) and their Date of Birth + the Parent's CRN and their Date of Birth. The CRN and DOB provided must be identitical to details provided to the Centrelink Office. Through CCMS Bauer Street and Centrelink details are linked and details must correlate for Child Care Benefits to be paid. |
