Ashmore Community Children's Centre
CENTRE INFORMATION
The Ashmore Community Children’s Centre provides quality long day care to meet the needs of families in our community. We care for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years.
Our goal is for the centre to be a happy, caring place for children, where they can all develop to their full potential. A special feature of the centre is ‘The Children’s Garden’, providing natural outdoor garden playgrounds where the children can explore and develop appreciation for the environment.
The centre offers and educational Kindergarten program subsidised by the government to offer universal access for children in the year prior to starting school. A universtiy qualified teacher is responsible for this program in the centre.
We access the resources of the Inclusion Support Agency (1300 855 508) to: • assist with communication, translations & programs for families and children with culturally & linguistically diverse backgrounds. • assist with inclusion of children with special needs
